Brand new to the spirits industry, Kjersten Merila is already shaking things up…over ice. Vodka’s the game, Her Spirit’s the name. Kjersten, Owner and Co-founder of Her Spirit, believes the achievement of starting her own company and working on Her Spirit is incredible, but is outweighed by the rewarding feeling of contributing. 50% of the profits from Her Spirit will be given back to female entrepreneurs. Kjersten’s goal was to create something bigger than herself and have fun doing it. When she’s not out creating a buzz for Her Spirit, she works full time in the Healthcare industry, spends time with her rescue pup, and works with her husband on how to take the Her Spirit brand to the next level. Her Spirit Vodka is now available throughout Minnesota with more states coming soon!

Jayna is a Hubbard NextGen, a group that was selected within the company to come up with ideas for the future.

Since finishing school at the University of Minnesota, Sam has become an experienced digital strategist with over 10 years of planning, creating, and executing digital solutions. Sam has extensive experience working with businesses, government organizations, public health initiatives and non-profits from fortune 500s to tiny mom and pop bakeries. Sam holds certifications from Google in AdWords and analytics as well as various other certifications from Bing, Microsoft and Hubspot.

After graduating summa cum laude from St. Catherine University in December 2016, Isabella joined the Hubbard Interactive team ready to put her Communications, Marketing, and Graphic Design studies to use. While in school, she ran numerous social media accounts for foundations (one funded by Paris Hilton’s grandpa – yes, you read that right) and local nonprofits. Isabella started as a Social Media Coordinator, and has since moved to the role of Social Media Strategist with Hubbard Interactive. In that time she has created targeted content and paid social advertising for over 20+ industry-diverse clients. She also aides in the creative design process with her extensive Photoshop background. When she’s not working, Isabella can be found enjoying a good cup of coffee, participating in the Twin Cities foodie/art scene, and jamming out to various kinds of music. Not country though, sorry not sorry.

While attending Augsburg College, Eric began working in the field of Marketing at Nike, Inc. As a Product Presentation Manager & Social Media Specialist, he provided premium consumer services support by monitoring and responding to inbound service-related messages in a variety of Nike communities via social media & email. Throughout his career, Eric has been working with cross-functional teams to approach Digital Marketing in a way that pushes boundaries and connections. He has a deep understanding of marketing initiatives, software services, web properties and social events. As an influencer himself, he enjoys the digital engagement between products and content creation.
